Photo / Dance; Reflections by Rinko Kawauchi, Olivia Bee and Estelle Hanania brings together photographic series by artists who have been in dialogue with the Maison for several years.
This exhibition highlights their unique visions of dance, expanded through their engagement with the Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival. Held twice a year in different cities, this event offers a panorama of contemporary choreographic art.
Over several editions of the Festival, photographers were given carte blanche to follow choreographers and dancers day in and day out, both onstage and backstage. Capturing the movement and beauty of a fleeting moments, the resulting images immerse viewers in the dancers’ routine, from the rehearsal hall to the stage.
From London (2022 and 2025) to New York (2023 and 2026), Hong Kong (2024), Kyoto (2024) and Seoul (2025), Rinko Kawauchi, Olivia Bee and Estelle Hanania capture a rich variety of artists. As the only company followed by all three photographers, (LA)HORDE serves as the common denominator between their three distinct artistic practices.
